The McCracken County Mustangs fell short in the 4-3 loss to the visiting Triad High School Knights at Edward Jones Field despite outhitting their opponents in the seven-inning showdown with extra-base hits from seniors Eli James and Weston Miller.

Offensively, the Mustangs held their own against the Knights as Miller went 3-for-3 with a double and one run. James followed suit, going 2-for-3 with one walk in the loss.
