Kentucky basketball star Otega Oweh was drafted by the Miami Heat in the NBA Draft Wednesday in the second round.

Kentucky basketball guard Otega Oweh became the latest former Wildcat to hear his name called for the NBA on Wednesday.
Oweh was selected No. 41 overall in the second round of the 2026 draft, being picked up by the Miami Heat. The draft rights to Oweh are being traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
