As announced by the school district on Thursday afternoon, Cliff Dew has resigned from his position as head football coach at Mayfield.

MAYFIELD, Ky. — After spending the last two seasons leading Mayfield football, Cardinal head coach Cliff Dew has stepped down, the school announced Thursday.
“We respect Coach Dew’s decision and thank him for his hard work,†Mayfield High School Principal Matt McMain said in a statement. “We wish him and his family nothing but the best in the next chapter of his career.â€
