The Season & Shadow spice line will provide revenue for Merryman House and create opportunities for job growth and skills training for domestic abuse survivors.

A new line of spice blends that launched Thursday in collaboration with Freight House owner and chef Sara Bradley will benefit the Merryman House Domestic Crisis Center in Paducah.

The brand, Season & Shadow, will not only generate funds for Merryman House, but will be operated through a job shadowing program for domestic abuse survivors at the center.

“Our hope is that we can create as many jobs as we can sustain in a responsible way, and then as the program grows, that just creates more and more jobs and more and more opportunity,†said Mary Foley, executive director of the Merryman House.
