Thursday night was a big one for the Marshall County Marshals baseball program. Not only did they play host to fellow Fourth District foes, the Murray Tigers, but a shot at the No. 1 spot in the district was at stake. With a 6-4 victory, the Marshals clinched that spot, holding a 3-1 district record having lost just once to Calloway County.

The win was their second over the Tigers in a 72-hour period, having beat them 12-2 in Murray on Tuesday night.
