With the 2025-26 baseball season now heading into the home stretch, several athletes from the KHSAA’s First Region have made major impacts for their team, and rank among the best Kentucky has to offer in multiple statistical categories.
Sitting with a record of 13-2 heading into Wednesday, the St. Mary Vikings have impressed at the plate this year, with multiple Vikings putting up some of the state’s best numbers. Hitting for a team batting average of .360, the tenth best mark in the state, they’ve been led by a .578 stretch for Andrew Puckett, who currently holds Kentucky’s fifth best average.
