Former Murray State standout wide receiver J’Kalon Carter recently signed on to continue his career on the Tirol Raiders, a professional football team from Austria that is apart of the European Football Alliance. The journey from Murray, Kentucky to Innsbruck, Austria is a long one, but Carter said he is appreciative of the opportunity to play football professionally.
“I was very excited,†J’Kalon said about signing with the squad. “After pro day, I had some stuff lined up, but it wasn’t a guarantee, so I just kept training. I knew I was going to get a call to play professionally, it was just a matter of when. I ended up getting it, and I was overly excited.â€
