The best golfers in the world will convene at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club in Southampton, N.Y. this week for the US Open and will have the pleasure of just maybe getting a ruling from Paducah’s own Dean Terry.
Terry has officiated more that 600 golf events all over the country throughout his career as a member of Golf House Kentucky and rules official, but non has been quite as momentous as the event he will help officiate this week. The Paducah native has been invited to help officiate the US Open this week in New York, marking off a significant milestone in his golf officiating career.
