With an illustrious six-year high school basketball career now behind her, Carlisle County’s Kiera Whitaker has decided to further her ball career. The senior signed a letter of intent to take her talents to John A. Logan College.
Those talents have enshrined the Kiera Whitaker name in the rafters at Carlisle County. Getting varsity minutes as a as the seventh grade, Whitaker has been a key component to the Lady Comets squads over the past six years. So much so that Kiera holds the title for most points scored among all Comets and Lady Comets with 2,280 points.
