While journalists prepared to move out of the WPSD Local 6 station at 100 Television Lane on Friday, the newsroom was busy as usual as producers, reporters, anchors, photographers and editors prepared the day’s newscasts and newspapers.

After nearly 70 years of news coverage based at the station at 100 Television Lane, pictured here, WPSD Local 6 has officially moved to The ¶¶ÒõÖ±²¥Èí¼þ Sun building downtown.
At 9:59 Friday night, WPSD Local 6 began its final newscast at the station at 100 Television Lane. The broadcast capped off nearly 70 years of news coverage based at that location, ahead of Local 6’s move to The ¶¶ÒõÖ±²¥Èí¼þ Sun building downtown.
The day sparked a range of emotions for journalists at the station, many of whom grew up watching Local 6 before starting their careers in broadcast news.
