Nine members of Paducah Tilghman High School’s Class of 1958 — the school’s first racially integrated class — reunited ahead of the Eighth of August for an interview with The Sun.
The reunion included three of the six members of the “¶¶ÒõÖ±²¥Èí¼þ Six†— honor students chosen from Paducah’s segregated Black school Lincoln High School to integrate Tilghman in 1956 — Billie Gray, Larry C. Grayer Jr. and Donald Brown. Gray described the meeting as a historic occasion.
