Heather Dawn Willis serves as a Regional Media Communications Coordinator with the University of Illinois Extension, supporting marketing and communications efforts across the southern and eastern regions of Illinois, including 48 counties. With more than two decades of experience in higher education, Willis plays a key role in connecting communities, producers, and organizations with extension programs, research, and resources through strategic storytelling and outreach. From highlighting local initiatives to sharing the latest agricultural insights, Willis helps bridge the gap between extension educators and the communities they serve, ensuring vital information reaches those who rely on it to grow, adapt and succeed.
