CARTERVILLE, Ill. — To wrap up Child Abuse Prevention Month, the Poshard Foundation presented grants totaling more than $104,000 to local agencies combating child abuse Tuesday at John A. Logan College.

Jo Poshard said child abuse doesn’t end on April 30 — it happens year-round.
