GOREVILLE, Ill. — Multiple parents in a Southern Illinois school district have come forward to report that their children were physically assaulted at school by other students. The parents claim administrators in the district tolerate verbal and physical bullying.
During a Goreville, Illinois, City Council Meeting on ¶¶ÒõÖ±²¥Èí¼þ, two parents spoke out about alleged on-campus assaults within Goreville Community Unit School District. Since then, another parent and a student have come forward to speak out against the responses from school administrators and the Goreville Police Department.
