Paducah property owners who own uninhabited or condemned properties that could have previously been contaminated by hazardous material have until the end of 2025 to potentially qualify to receive an environmental assessment on their property.
Through the Paducah Brownfields Program, created by the city after receiving a $500,000 U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Brownfields Assessment grant in 2022, Paducah is working to revitalize abandoned or underutilized sites for the community’s benefit.
