Mercy Health — Lourdes Hospital announced last month that it is accepting applications for its Future Physicians Program for students interested in attending medical school. Hospital officials say the program aims to benefit the community.
The program allows 10 students to complete 150 hours of shadowing across different areas of the hospital during the summer. The program is free to apply for and attend, and upon program completion, it provides a stipend to help cover expenses.
