The Humane Society of Marshall County will hold a celebration from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 2 for Patches.

BENTON, Ky. — After nearly 7½ years, a Humane Society of Marshall County dog will be heading to her forever home.

The shelter will hold a celebration from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 2, showering Patches in love ahead of her departure. The community is invited to make signs and line the shelter’s driveway for the big sendoff. Finger foods and beverages will be provided.
