The screening committee met in the board room following the conclusion of the board meeting. The screening committee will meet two more times before giving the board their recommendations on April 22.

Amid ongoing controversy, the Marshall County Board of Education met with the screening committee charged with recommending the candidate they feel is best qualified to serve as the district’s next superintendent on ¶¶ÒõÖ±²¥Èí¼þ, March 25.

The screening committee is comprised of two certified staff members, one classified staff member, one principal, one parent, and one board member. The members of the committee are Luke Inglish, Brad Darnall, Denae Shelton, Jennifer Harris, Daniel Dyke, and Darla Doss. The committee is assisted by Kentucky School Board Association Superintendent Search Consultant Quin Sutton, who guided the district through the search process three years ago, when the district hired outgoing superintendent Steve Miracle.
