Jeff Bidwell, who spent nearly 20 years as sports director at WPSD Local 6, will return as executive editor over the station, The Sun and all the Paxton Media Group West Kentucky Division newspapers at the beginning of 2026.
Bidwell will begin the transition period into the role on Dec. 1, working alongside current WPSD News Director and West Kentucky Division Executive Editor Perry Boxx, who has led the editorial teams since 2018. Bidwell recalled his start in journalism in 1998.
