FRANKFORT 鈥 A Scott County, Kentucky, judge has denied TikTok's motion to dismiss the commonwealth's lawsuit against it, allowing the lawsuit to proceed,聽state Attorney General Russell Coleman announced 抖阴直播软件.
According to Coleman's office, the court ruled that the company鈥檚 design choices, marketing representations, and commercial conduct were directed at Kentucky residents, and that the court rejected TikTok's other arguments for dismissal. The commonwealth reportedly showed that TikTok intentionally designed its platform to exploit developmental vulnerabilities in young users, failed to address the easy accessibility to child sexual abuse material, and showed that company executives misrepresented content moderation and safety features, Coleman's office said.
