MCCRACKEN COUNTY — The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office discovered human skeletal remains on a McCracken County property this week as detectives were following up on an animal cruelty case, according to Sheriff Ryan Norman.
Norman said the remains were found off Broyles Avenue after a detective working on an animal cruelty investigation uncovered information that suggested possible financial irregularities and benefits fraud. He said that prompted detectives to broaden the investigation.
