The program A New Lease on Life dedicated a home to survivors of the Dec. 10, 2021, tornado outbreak in Mayfield, Kentucky, on Wednesday. The keys to the home on East South Street were presented to Jasmine Jones and her family. When readying homes for tornado survivors, A New Lease on Life goes beyond repairs, adding protective measures to the home, such as a generator and a tornado shelter. The program is an initiative of the Mayfield-Graves County Long-Term Recovery Group.
