Since the Dec. 2021 tornado, volunteers have been coming from all over the country to the city of Mayfield to help with the rebuilding efforts. Soon, volunteers traveling to the area will have a temporary housing option.
The Graves County Long Term Recovery Group (LTRG) is building a Volunteer Bunkhouse for volunteers to live in during their time in Mayfield. The bunkhouse will have five bedrooms and three bathrooms to accommodate roughly 10 volunteers in one space.
