MARION — Crittenden County Fiscal Court held a special called meeting Friday to discuss current jail funds, an executive order regarding local law enforcement and a pauper burial request.

Crittenden County Judge Executive Perry Newcom first addressed cash availability at the Crittenden County Detention Center. On April 13, there was a cash balance of $44,395.98. The court agreed to pay claims that were deferred from the March meeting, which was at $35,303.28, leaving it a balance of $9,092.70.
