A series of nighttime work zones are planned in McCracken County so crews with a contractor can install high-friction pavement coating in multiple locations.

Drivers can expect a series of nighttime work zones in McCracken County this week as the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet said a contractor is installing high-friction pavement coating at multiple locations in the county.

In a news release, KYTC District 1 said the work zones are part of the Highway Safety Improvement Project that focuses on improving road conditions in places where crashes related to wet weather frequently happen.
