Incumbent McCracken County Judge Executive Craig Clymer won the Republican primary for the position Tuesday night with over half of the vote.

Clymer won over two opponents in the Republican primary — McCracken County District 2 Commissioner Richard Abraham and businessman Matt Moore. Clymer will run for the position against Mayor George Bray in the general election on Nov. 3 — if Bray receives the required 100 signatures for his nominating petition as an independent candidate, due on June 2.
