Gov. Andy Beshear on Thursday announced nearly $2.6 million in funding for site and building development projects in three western Kentucky counties.

The projects — located in Fulton, Hickman and Hopkins counties — fall under the Kentucky Product Development Initiative. Beshear’s office said the funding awards were approved in the second round of the KPDI program. The initiative provides funding for communities to invest in site and building upgrades that will support economic growth and jobs that pay well.
