CARBONDALE, Ill. — With widespread protests and the massacre of thousands of civilians, a handful of Iranians living in Carbondale hosted a panel to inform their neighbors of the human rights crisis in their native country.
The panel consisted of Iranian students at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and a recent graduate. Each provided their own perspective, sharing experiences living in Iran and their thoughts on the ongoing conflicts, particularly on the inside.
