BENTON — Stilley House Senior Living strives to keep residents active and connected with their families. One such way is the annual Father’s Day tradition of celebrating with ice cream floats. Families gathered for lunch and a sweet treat on Friday, June 19, ahead of the Sunday holiday.

Amid AQS QuiltWeek, St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church held a luncheon and quilt display Thursday, offering locals and visitors alike an opportunity to enjoy food, fellowship and fiber arts.

For the sixth year, Marshall County women gathered for the Kentucky Lake Chamber of Commerce’s Women in Business Luncheon. The 2026 event saw record attendance of around 190 attendees and featured keynote speaker Amy Mills of 17th Street Barbecue.
