The Kentucky Sheriffs’ Boys and Girls Ranch in Gilbertsville has served many kids across the commonwealth, allowing them to spend time outdoors and make lasting memories; however, the camp has not been able to operate at full capacity due to outdated facilities.

The eighth Kuttawa Cannonball Run kicked off Friday, and though there are fewer boaters due to recent storms and higher-than-desired water levels, many were out on the water ready to help raise money for west Kentucky causes.
