Law enforcement arrested two people on numerous charges Wednesday, including drug possession, child endangerment, and torture of a dog.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office's investigation began on Feb. 19, after detectives assisted McCracken County Animal Control in locating a severely emaciated dog. According to MCSO, the animal was in need of immediate medical treatment.
